Ten days ago, I landed at the LGA airport. Sleepy, hungry, and wet from the rain, I treked to the hotel, just a mere 40 minute walk away. But I was excited out of my mind, as tommorrow I'd be visiting the xAI office.
The next morning, my friend Anmol Singh and I traveled to the xAI office for the event. After entering, I immediately found myself in a crowd of students from all across the East. Everyone seemed excited, chattery, and I got to learn about their interests. I met students interested in all kinds of technology, building all sorts of different projects, and their passion inspired myself to continue building.
Afterwards, I also had the opportunity to talk to xAI engineers. And without a doubt, I was further inspired. Each conversation I had led to a new perspective and a drive to do more after I go back home.
By the end, I'd learnt so much from other students and the xAI engineers, and I was more motivated than ever to continue my journey in technology.

As mentioned in the title, it was also my first time in NYC, so after the event, I of course had to visit the city. I only had an afternoon, so each stop I made had to be quick, but I think I made the most of it. The following are all places I visited:
- Chinatown
- Wall Street
- Empire State Building
- Times Square
- Grand Central Terminal
- Little Italy
And here are a couple pictures:
